Fly Plaids
The Scottish fly plaid is a traditional garment in Highland dress. The kilt fly plaid is customarily worn over the left shoulder to sit at breast level. The fly plaid is held in place with a decorative fly plaid brooch. Tartan fly plaids must match the kilt being worn.
